Round 3 of the Australian GT championship presented by Pirelli will be hosted at Townsville July 10th-12th. Last round our German pro diver Christopher Mies took out the honours with co-driver Tasmanian legend Greg Crick in the Jamec Pem #74 Audi R8. After now having 2 from 2 round wins the Audisport MPC camp are looking to grab a trio of round wins to make our mark on this years title hopes.
Easter weekend 3rd – 5th of April will see the mountain light up once again with a spectacular array of motorsports finest machines! We have 4 cars entering this years meeting. Which include a Ginetta G50, Dodge Viper GT3, Audi R8 LMS, and an Evolution 10 Mitsubishi! Get track side for what will be a magnificent event!
Preparation is in full swing for the Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12hr that is only a couple of weeks away! Cars are currently on a 2 day shakedown and test and will then be re-checked and given the once over ready for the biggest race of the year! MoTeC is pleased to announce the official release of the C127 and C187 Colour Display Loggers, two scaled up new models in our C1 Series. Measuring 178 mm (approx. 7 inches), these superb full colour screens are the most generous in the range, delivering vivid, high resolution graphics with more impact than ever. Their anti-reflective finish ensures perfect clarity, even in direct sunlight. Channels, labels and colours are configurable within a diverse set of supplied templates, or, alternatively, MoTeC’s Display Creator software can be used to create fully customised layouts with individual flair. Just like our other C1 displays, the C127 and C187 feature an array of ten fully programmable, built-in RGB LEDs for use as shift lights, warnings or other driver alerts. These new models also have 6 additional LEDs, 3 down either side of the unit. As usual, the colour, function and intensity of each LED is user-definable. See Products for further info.
Rod Salmon’s new 2014 spec Audi R8 LMS Ultra will debut at next months 101 race at Highlands Motorsport Park in New Zealand. This car will run in the 2015 Australian GT Championship including the Bathurst 12 hr in Feb drivers will be owner Rod and co-driver Nathan Antunes.

The 2014 Sepang 12hr was run over the weekend. The Melbourne Performance Centre prepared Audi Sport Audi R8 of Mark Eddy, Marc Cini, and Christopher Mies came home in 6th overall! Congrats and massive thankyou to all involved! Now for testing at Phillip Island and more prep work for Sandown in a couple of weeks.
It was a great weekend for MPC at Sydney Motorsport Park during Rnd#4 of the Australian GT Championship presented by Pirelli with Rod Salmon/Nathan Antunes and Dean Koutsoumidis/James Winslow claiming a win apiece in Trophy Class, the Skwirk.com.au Audi taking top honours by virtue of claiming pole. The battle continues!
The number 75 Audi R8 of Steve McLaughlan will start this weekends racing at Sydney motorsport park completely overhauled and upgraded to 2013 spec after crash damage repairs led to the choice of upgrading at the same time an easy option. The upgrade includes revised aero package, more lightweight carbon components, and some power upgrades too with revised exhaust headers and more. check out the gallery for more pics!
